Just in case you misplaced or forgot the homework assignment from the Open House, I thought that I would post the directions for you.

What you need to do is find something at home that represents something that you did this summer that you would like to share with the class. It can be an object or a picture, you choose. One rule is that it needs to fit into a sandwich size baggie, so get creative. Another rule is that it can only be one object or picture. The last rule is that you need to bring it with you to school on our first day, September 6th. I can’t wait to see what you bring in. We will be completing a writing activity with this object.
