Math Update
Posted onThe students are being presented with a variety of one-step and two-step word problems. The focus is on all 4 operations. Today we discussed the order of operations. The students now know that multiplication or division is completed first and then addition or subtraction, UNLESS they see parentheses.
Please continue to help your child get faster on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Your support is crucial to your child’s learning!
Missing Item
Posted onToday we went to the book fair and a student bought a black eraser. He put it in his mailbox and at the end of the day, it was gone. I only had one student buy the black one. If by chance you come across one, would you please return it to school? Thanks!

Science Test Postponed Again
Posted onWe will not have the adaptation/classification test until Friday, November 6th. This will give us time to complete an experiment, finish our riddles and review. After that test, we will switch with Mrs. Flory’s class for geography.
Book Fair
