Good-Bye

I can’t believe the end is here and I hate to see them go! I have been dreading this day but as the saying goes…all good things must come to an end. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching your children! We have truly become a 2nd-3rd grade family that works. They know what I am thinking before I even need to say it (which can be frightening at times but makes me laugh). Many have commented that our daily routines and transitions are smooth. It is because of your amazing children. I have had the honor of watching them:

  • grow in self-confidence
  • learn the “tough stuff”
  • laugh at silly mistakes
  • write by pulling on the heartstrings
  • read beyond expectations
  • cheer each other on

Your children are SPECIAL! Thank you for sharing them with me. I have truly been blessed!

Just a few updates …

  • The kids have worked VERY hard all year, so to celebrate they earned an electronics game time. If you would like to send in a game for them to play for a bit, please do. They can play board games if they don’t bring one.
  • Report cards will be mailed tomorrow at 4:00. Please visit the school blog on Monday for a class list. You will want to subscribe to your future teacher’s blog after that to receive updates and a class supply list.
