If you are going through your child’s books this summer and come across some that belong to me, would you return them in the Fall? So far I am missing the following books (but there may be more):
Thank you!
Our last day of school is Thursday. We would like to invite all children to wear their Reading Counts Tie Dye shirts. If you didn’t make a shirt for reading counts, wear any tie dye shirt or any shirt you love!
Parents,
During the Reading Counts party tomorrow, your son or daughter will be coming home with a tye dye shirt in a plastic bag. Please read the directions below about how to care for the new shirt:
IMPORTANT: Shirt MUST set and “cure” for 24 hours.
Instructions:
1. Pre-fill washing machine with HOT water.
2. Remove shirt from the bag. While still tied, rinse shirt with cold water.
3. Continue rinsing in warmer water while untying and until the water runs fairly clear.
4. Then, wash the shirt through full wash cycle in hot water.
NOTE: Wash 2 times by itself as colors could bleed the first few washings!!!!
Our field trip has been canceled due to the weather. Unfortunately we are unable to reschedule.
Field Trip June 2 Pigeon Creek Park and Tunnel Park: Please remember to send your child with a sack lunch and closed toe shoes (no flip-flops, crocs, etc.) and dressed to be outside in woods and sand. I have contacted those parents that volunteered to come along. We will also watch the weather in the morning to see if we need to cancel.
June 4th Reading Counts Party: 9:00-10:00
June 9th Field Day for 2nd & 3rd: Bring water bottle and wear appropriate shoes.
